Yardis IoT solutions are powered by the Home IQ Hub, a Yardi-designed gateway that connects devices to the Yardi IoT cloud. The Home IQ Hub can connect to devices via Z-Wave®, Zigbee, and Wi-Fi. The Home IQ Hub contains a cellular SIM card and antenna that connects with the Yardi IoT cloud via a 4G LTE connection. The hubs are installed in the units by the on-site staff and Yardi provides training to add devices. Residents can control all the smart devices through the existing RENTCafé Resident
